Best Down Source
Hungary is one of the few places remaining in Europe where geese are still widely raised in the countryside. Geese are raised in a free-range environment on natural, flat land habitats rich in natural herbs, in addition to receiving special feedstock. In Hungary, our geese are raised in a special climate. In winter, they protect themselves from the extreme cold with large clusters down, and in the summer with pure bright white feathers from the extreme hot weather. Geese farming has a long tradition in Hungary, and the industries associated with goose and down products are sophisticated and regulated.
Cruelty Free Down Sources
The Hungarian down we use is certified by a respected veterinary institute as well as by the National Hygiene Board. We do not use “live-plucked” feathers or any painful process to harvest down. We neither cause injury to geese nor acquire down by means of industrial farming. Our raw material is beautiful pure natural white NOT chemically bleached.
The factory and raw materials are cleaned carefully, and sterilized. We are ensuring that our employees are healthy and also wear protective gear.

How can I identify a down comforter filled with original Hungarian natural white goose down instead of bleached down?
The original Hungarian White goose down is easy to identify at first glance. The product is almost double as fluffy as others, due to the large volume of down it naturally contains, white and light brown or off-white in color.
In contrast, bleached down is always overly bright and has a damaged structure that fragments after a few months. As a result, bleached down in a comforter often appears flat.
How can you check the origin of the down?
Today, fewer and fewer farms operate therefore there is only a limited source of raw materials and they are high-priced as well.
Many companies advertise their product as Hungarian goose down-filled but that’s inability to provide this quantity of raw materials and mixed up with low quality raw materials which are bleached and brightened duck down
Few main evidence of the product is fake and not 100% Hungarian down:
-The product looks flat,
-The 90% down feather ratio product can’t reach this high fill power
-Advertised above 900FP and higher.
-Too white down warns us it may be bleached and go flat after a few months (most common on chemical whitening down going to dust and small particle fragments)
-Strong odor, that evidences inappropriate cleaning and contains duck down or used recycled down.
